Name
|
The name is given by the program automatically. It can not be changed.

Type
|
Each construction line has a certain type defined by its input. The type can not be modified.
|
|
Options "Extended to +/-infinity"
|
These options can also be found in the symbol column on the left side of the cross section window. The selected construction line can be extended to "+/- infinity". One of the options must be set, otherwise the construction line could not be selected. Exceptions: Lines defined by intersections and polygons.

edit box "Variable"
|
The distance or the angle defining the position of the line can be combined with a cross section variable. A variable makes a construction line able to be positioned.
Note: If "None" is selected, the edit box for the distance or angle is available for a input.A constant value is assigned to each variable. A table or formula may replace this assigned value later when defining the segment points.

edit box "Distance" / "Angle"
|
A constr. line is defined relative to another line either by an angle or a distance. This value is unit dependent.
Note: The value can only be changed, if no variable is selected in the variable edit box.

Option "right" / "left"
|
Each construction line defined by a parallel movement can by mirrored about its basic line.

|
Dependencies
|
Each construction line is dependent on other construction lines.
Note: The dependencies cannot be modified presently.

Predecessor/Successor
|
The definitions for polygons can be checked using these buttons. The current part of the polygon is marked by an arrow symbol in the graphic window.

A further window appears offering the selection of pen and line types for the construction line.
